This Privacy Policy explains how TaxPilot ("the app", "we", "our") handles information when you use the application on your Android device.

TaxPilot is developed by Ansar abbas techs and is available on the Google Play Store. By using this app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2 Information We Do Not Collect

TaxPilot does not collect any personal information. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data
• Financial amounts or tax figures you enter in the app
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Crash reports or diagnostic data sent to our servers
• Any data from your contacts, camera, microphone, or storage

3 How Data Is Stored Locally

TaxPilot stores your recent calculation history locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences storage. This data never leaves your device.

Locally stored data includes:

• Your last 20 tax calculations (amounts, rates, and results)
• Your selected app theme preference (light or dark mode)

You can clear all locally stored calculation history at any time from within the app by tapping the "Clear History" button in the history section.

Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all locally stored data from your device.

4 Internet and Network Access

TaxPilot does not require an internet connection to function. The app works fully offline.

TaxPilot does not make any network requests, does not connect to any servers, and does not transmit any data over the internet.

5 Third-Party Services

TaxPilot does not integrate any third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking libraries.

The following third-party components are used solely for building the user interface and do not collect any data:

• Android Jetpack libraries (Google) — for UI components only
• Material Design Components (Google) — for visual design only

These libraries function locally on your device and do not send data to Google or any other party when used within TaxPilot.

6 Permissions

TaxPilot requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function:

• Clipboard access — used only when you tap the "Copy Result" button to copy your calculation to the clipboard. This is initiated by you and nothing is read from your clipboard.

TaxPilot does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, files, or any other device resources.

7 Children's Privacy

TaxPilot is suitable for users of all ages. Since the app does not collect any personal information from any user, it also does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.

8 Data Security

Since TaxPilot does not transmit any data to external servers, there is no risk of your data being intercepted or accessed by unauthorized parties through our services.

10 Your Rights

Since TaxPilot collects no personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, export, or delete on our end. You retain full control of all data stored locally on your device.

You may delete all locally stored data at any time by clearing the calculation history within the app, or by uninstalling the app from your device.
